Lectures

The birth of Christ, the central event of Christmas, is presented as the descent of the divine logos into the world, hidden like a seed in the earth. This concept is reflected in various Christmas traditions, such as the Nativity scene, the Christmas tree, and the figure of Santa Claus, all of which embody the same essential structure of the highest good manifesting in the lowest place.
