The ironic thing is that many people go into in debt trying to get rich. The irony is that those same people already have wealth. They just don’t see it.
In 2014, the real adjusted gross disposable income of households per capita in the United Kingdom was £21,919. If a person makes that income over a 45 year working life, that’s £986,355. That’s almost a million pounds earned in a lifetime by the average wage earner. Not including any investments or other form of income.
Unfortunately, most people will end up giving most of that money away to the tax man, creditors and merchants. It’s truly not about how much money you make, it’s about how you manage it and how much you get to keep.
