For therapists or students in sports therapy, osteopathy, physiotherapy, chiropractic, yoga, pilates & functional anatomy.
Take all 10 Diploma Masterclasses to become a certified Bodymaster Practitioner, allowing you to treat more and refer less.
This masterclass is fully certified through the Sports Therapy Organisation. On completion you’ll receive a certificate and 7 CPD points.
The Vital Cervical Spine Masterclass is a comprehensive, must-have roadmap of the functional anatomy, assessment & treatment of the cervical spine and peripheral nervous system. This masterclass explains everything from active and passive range of motion testing for the cervical spine, neurological testing, commonly seen medical conditions such as disc pathology and spondylosis. This course is an indispensable resource for physical therapists and bodyworkers.
The Vital Cervical Spine Masterclass demystifies what is a fascinating but complex subject and teaches you everything you need to know – from how to diagnose cervical spine pathologies to neuropathies that cause pain to the shoulder, arm and hand. Â
You will gain critical insights into the structure and functions of the cervical spine and learn how reflex testing can aid in diagnosing conditions, disc herniations.
The advanced nature of the course content requires you have a high standard of both theoretical and practical knowledge. The minimum level of your ability, therefore, is Level 3 Sport Massage Therapist with ITEC, VTCT, IIST, Premier or similar diploma qualification. If you are an Osteopath, Chiropractor or Physiotherapist you would also benefit greatly from this course.
Pre Course Learning is essential and we would suggest a good knowledge and/or revision of the anatomy of the cervical spine with particular emphasis on the joints & ligaments, muscle origins and insertions.
Cervical spine manipulation (Grade 5) will not be taught on this course.
