For therapists or students in sports therapy, osteopathy, physiotherapy, chiropractic, yoga, pilates & functional anatomy.
Take all 10 Diploma Masterclasses to become a certified Bodymaster Practitioner, allowing you to treat more and refer less.
This masterclass is fully certified through the Sports Therapy Organisation. On completion you’ll receive a certificate and 7 CPD points.
In The Vital Glutes & Psoas Masterclass we will look at two of the most neglected areas of the body: the gluteal & psoas muscles. During the masterclass I will take you on a fascinating journey of enlightenment, teaching you to recognize pain and dysfunctional patterns that can arise from dysfunctions found within the gluteal & psoas muscles. Addressing questions such as:
– Why do the gluteals & psoas muscles potentially cause pain and dysfunction in distant sites of the body?
– How does the gait pattern contribute to pain and dysfunction?
– How can the application of gluteal-psoas-specific Muscle Energy Techniques aid full-body well-being?
In addition, I’ll be providing step-by-step techniques to identify and correct a number of impaired patterns as well as functional gluteal exercises that promote recovery.
The advanced nature of the course content requires you to have a high standard of both theoretical and practical knowledge. The minimum level of your ability, therefore, needs to be Level 3 Sport / Holistic Massage Therapist with ITEC, VTCT, IIST, Premier or similar diploma qualification.
This course is perfect if you are a Sports Massage therapist, Osteopath, Chiropractor or a Physiotherapist as the techniques you are taught on the course will compliment your treatments in your clinic. Students studying any aspect of physical therapy are also welcome.
