LeeAnne Wichmann, LMFT, has been in clinical practice for 26 years. She has taught various classes in a graduate Couples and Family Therapy Program, and has presented at many national and regional conferences in the areas of professional ethics, domestic violence, attachment, and testifying as an expert witness in court. In addition to providing professional ethics training, Ms. Wichmann’s 20 years as a clinical supervisor has emphasized the development of an ethical practice, and the need to know the laws related to practice.
Ms. Wichmann served on the Oregon Board for Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists for five years. In reviewing consumer complaints against clinicians, she gained much insight into common ethical violations, and often what led to those violations. Ms. Wichmann is a Clinical Fellow and approved supervisor for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
