Main characteristics of the “SPY Speed Trade”:

The goal of this strategy is to capture fast time decay (high Theta) leaving Delta under tight control. This means it can absorb some SPY price fluctuations. Like the Ride Trade, this one starts with a Calendar Spread and only one adjustment can be made due to the very low short term of this strategy. It can be in the market for a max of 5 days. The adjustment has clear guidelines as well as exit points.Clear guidelines are given in the selection of the options chains to be used on the Calendar Spread that minimizes risk.
