The Movement optimization specialist course provides you with an analytical, problem-solving approach geared towards efficient and effective programming for functional movement.
You will be introduced to T.O.S.S. (Training Optimization Support Strategy), a comprehensive strategy that directs various assessment and corrective tools towards an intervention for movement optimization.
If you want to develop a comprehensive functional training approach rooted in clinical strategies and geared towards prevention and performance, this is the right course for you!
Our bodies are constantly orchestrating motor recruitment solutions around movement, loads, and postures that are influenced by our environment, culture, and activities. Both trauma and learned behaviors contribute to and create, imbalances that challenge our system to alter its movement patterns and adjust its posture to find the path of least resistance. Maladaptation and dysfunction ultimately lead to injury, and while an injury can be treated acutely, dysfunction requires long term intervention. Efficient functional programming should include interventions that address the cycle of dysfunctional movement. As trainers, our role is to promote effective changes in movement as behavior in order to optimize performance.
