One of the biggest problems we struggle with is that we donât know what to do with how we feel. This could be in any particular system of the body or how we feel in our hearts.
Living Well with Ayurveda is a 10-day course that provides a clear, simple framework to help you better respond to how you feel, so you can feel your best in your body and your life.
This course is for you if you’re ready to…
Dr. Siva is a big picture person. An integrationist. A pattern seer. As a U.N. Social Affairs Officer and working globally with private clients for over 10 years, Dr. Siva realized that even educated, active people are missing the basics of wellness. Across cultures and continents, we are leading lives set up for chronic disease and discontentment. With an MD and a background in behavior change and education, Siva presents an empowering East-West Mind-Body version of Ayurveda. She guides her audience to build self awareness, emotional wellness, and clean life energetics.
âAyurveda is transformative. Itâs like having x-ray vision. You can see the deeper layers of your body, mind, and emotional patternsâand then you can learn how to be in the driverâs seat of your own health and happiness.”
One of the most challenging things to do is to define Ayurveda. Itâs a science, an art, an awareness, a healing process, a path to spiritual growth, and a lifestyle. In Day 1âs lessons, Dr. Siva defines the healing approach of Ayurveda, and outlines a clear process for you to apply this approach to your own life.
Ayurveda honors the fact that everything in the subtle energetics will come into the gross physical body energetics at some point in time. So on Day 2, youâll start building your awareness of where you currently are and look at anything you might be experiencing in the non-physical parts of yourself, before we take a closer look at the body and any signs of imbalance you may be experiencing.
Today youâll learn about the patterns of imbalance in order to learn what these signs and symptoms are revealing about your current state and the nature of doshic excess. Today includes a self-assessment that will empower you with the information you need to better understand the major inputs coming into your energetic sphere through your life, so you can better understand how these might be affecting your well-being.
The information you discover in this course is meant to be put into action. You start by assessing where you are at, right now. By doing so, you can then respond and determine whatâs healthy for you, based on the unique qualities present in your patterns. Todayâs lessons will help you have a better understanding of how to work with the information of your Current State.
Itâs important to prioritize shifts that are easy and doable in your micro-choices first. Small shifts add up to inspire the bigger ones, and theyâre more sustainable. Today is all about shifting your choices towards balancing, from big choices to small ones. Because there are infinite ways to play with energy, there are infinite ways to make healing choices.
Itâs common in our culture to put so much emphasis on what we’re eating as either the cause of our problems or the solution. However, Ayurveda takes a different approach. Ayurveda prioritizes the relationship you have with your bodyâs innate wisdom. Today, youâll learn how to let your body guide you into what you should be eating, how you should be eating, and, as a result, how you can improve your experience of nutrition and digestion.
Today, youâll learn about the common signs of restlessness in each dosha, as well as how to create healthy sleep patterns and routines that best support your central nervous system and circadian rhythms.
Emotions need to be digested, too. In todayâs lesson, youâll learn common feelings associated with each dosha, ways in which to best meet your needs, and the importance of knowing how to best sustain your life force levels.
Ayurveda has a lot of practices and hacks for healthy skin and superficial tissues, and today youâll discover how to best nourish your skin, eyes, and sinuses.
This is it! The chance to take all youâve learned and put it into practice in your daily life. The final day of the course includes the best balancing techniques for each dosha, as well as three simple yet nourishing self-care practices you can do from the comfort of home.
The first half of the course is learning the PROCESS of applying Ayurveda to your busy, modern life in easy, micro-changes that make a positive difference in how you feel. During the second part of the course, youâll look at how to best nourish your digestive and emotional health through the lens of Ayurveda, since these two systems influence all other areas of the body.
Youâll come away with the confidence to sort through your bodyâs information and look at the context of whatâs happening in your life, so you can make the necessary small shifts and micro-changes that have the biggest impact on your health and vitality.
