Descriptions of all lessons in this course.
Lesson 1: A Brief History of the Round
This course begins by explaining the mechanical process of evolution — how we are connected to it through receptors we carry within our bodies, and how the Program moves us along our geometry. Our current evolutionary cycle closes in 2027. The focus of the Program changes, and a new species emerges. Human Design offers an understanding of the changes that await us, thus preparing and equipping us with the ability to thrive within the new cycle.
Lesson 2: The Cycle of the Phoenix
In this lesson, Ra compares the current locks and keys to the next cycle’s locks and keys, explaining how they represent the ending of the cycle, and the rising of the new species. The changes within this cycle break down the support systems that humanity has relied upon during the last 400 years. While these changes seem scary, there is a way to protect ourselves and those we care about.
Lesson 3: The Cycle of Contagion
During the 400 years of the Cycle of the Phoenix, the new species will have had the energy to establish themselves and their control over large areas of the environment. In this lesson Ra looks at the dynamics between the emerging species and humans, and outlines possible conflicts. He touches on the cycle that will follow after the Phoenix: Contagion.
Lesson 4: The Cycle of Explanation
In the following 400-year Cycle, the conscious Raves will have developed the cognitive ability to create their own kind of Maia with a whole new structure, and will establish a new pattern in nature and life. While there is no place for humans in this world, and the Program’s agenda is not geared to humans, they will still play a part. In fact, humans will outnumber Raves, but will be mostly dysfunctional.
Lesson 5: The Apocalypse
An “apocalypse” is the revelation of the end of an era or age by a prophet or messenger; thus, this is the apocalypse as prophesied by Ra Uru Hu. In his mechanical explanation of the end, Ra explains that this “end” is actually a turning of the wheel of evolution, but it will be the end of the journey of self-reflected consciousness.
Lesson 6: The Night of Brahma
At the end of the Round, an object from space will bang into the earth, causing the Design Crystal Bundle which holds life together, and the Personality Crystal sheath to be thrown beyond the earth’s atmosphere. This collision brings about the death of life on Earth, because all support for life is lost. This is the Night of Brahma; during its 200 million years, the Design Crystal Bundle remains in motion.
Lesson 7: Oberon and the Reconstruction
During the “sleep” of the Night of Brahma, information is distilled and filtered, and the function of the bundle changes. Through another violent event, the Crystal Bundle is sent to Oberon, a Moon of Uranus, and becomes the home to the Crystals of Consciousness, called the Eron, for 2 billion years. In this lesson, Ra explains the alien nature of the Erons.
Lesson 8: Introduction to the Eron
In this lesson, Ra expands on the concept of the Eron, its purpose, and the evolution of the Crystal Bundles. The Eron is the foundation of what will be the Totality, of which we are components, as the crystals that have lived through humanity are those that will live through Eron. It is a functioning intelligent consciousness, the brain builder building the cosmic brain of the Totality.
Lesson 9: Eron
The concept of the Eron is difficult to grasp; it is not animate in the way we understand life. Instead, it is indestructible, immortal, aware, neither alive nor dead; it is alive in its consciousness, not its body. Ra explains the layout of the Eron form, with the obvious differences from our BodyGraph. The Eron needs to find the perfect face to bond with, and finding that bond will take a billion years.
Lesson 10: Eron
What is the Erons’ purpose? Is there a goal beyond the two billion years of their existence? Is there something greater than the Eron, is each Eron unique, and do they communicate? Ra speculates on these questions and more, ending by leaving us each to form our own conclusions.
Lesson 11: The “Child”
At the end of each cosmology semester, Ra tells a story. This lesson has the theme of “The Child.” The story begins with Ra landing in Ibiza in the early 1980’s, and follows his process of deconstruction. What is this “child,” and what is our relationship to it? In this lesson, Ra shares his experiences and ends with a Q & A period that expands on this cosmological adventure.
