Recently, we’ve been navigating our way through AI and it’s potential impact on search.
Both AI to automate our jobs (like content writing) and AI that will change the way people find content through search (aka cannibalizing traffic).
We can hypothesize, but the truth is we don’t really know what’s going to happen.
There’s a very real possibility the SEO industry goes up in smoke in the coming years.
But if history tells us anything, it probably won’t.
I saw this Tweet fromΒ Marie HaynesΒ yesterday that I think is the best mindset to handle this situation.
With every great change comes greater opportunity.
Just like Penguin, the way we operate will have to change…but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
